Course Requirements
Participants must be at least 16 years old and must submit a
- Resident: Pennsylvania Criminal History, Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance.
- Non-Resident: FBI Fingerprint Background Check
- Must have
- Government-issued photo ID with signature
- U.S. Social Security Number. (Out-of-country college students contact are still eligible; please contact the office for further instructions)
- Upon Successful Course Completion: Students who successfully complete the EMT course will be eligible to take the PA State certification exam, which consists of seven practical stations and a written exam through the National Registry of EMTs (NREMT). There is a $97.00 Pearson Vue testing fee for the written exam (not included in the course fee). Upon successful completion of all state testing, the student will receive a Pennsylvania-State EMT Certification and an NREMT EMT Certification.

Additional Fees
- Cognitive Exam: $104 per attempt. Upon successful completion of the class and passing the state psycho-motor exam, students will need to sit for the NREMT written exam; there is a $104.00 Pearson Vue testing fee for the written exam, which is not included in the course fee. This fee is subject to change.

- All Missed Labs: $40/hour
- Missed Exams and/or Retest Exams: $40/hour
